DSLR or Digital camera for backpacking Asia? - backpacking dslr
My backpack South Asia next summer and try to make a decent camera with him. Currently I have Fuji digital camera and 3-megapixel camera on my phone split.
I feel the value of my investments, while in a DSLR level? I write a lot of travel and how to make one great photo. If so, what model I would be a better fit or if I just get a decent digital camera?
Nothing fancy or too expensive - the prices would help and I can see if my price range. Just for good photos during the day will be mainly because my camera phone will do for existing pubs / photos of the club.
Any help would be great! Cheers.

Given where you are going and what they mean to keep a layer zoom (small entrance) DSLR like the D40 or D60, but also a compact camera with a large integrated - it would be lighter and more compact than any SLR to stay What if you pack light.

There are a lot of others in this category - most of them have certain characteristics of SLR, but are smaller and generally not interchangeable lenses.
If you are well grounded in a DSLR - the D40 or D60 is probably the way forward, but remember that the D60 is much newer than the D40.
Good luck!
